Starbucks Reserve SFO - Chestnut St (2018)
The new Starbucks on Chestnut is the latest iteration of Starbucks Reserve, a store format that focuses on Barista craft and premium single origin coffees. At only 1600 Square feet, the store is a “neighborhood” reserve bar in San Francisco’s Marina district, intended to be a gathering spot for neighborhood coffee lovers throughout the day, to take a moment to explore, savor, and interact.
Inspired by Starbucks roasteries, where the reserve coffees originate, the store is pocket version that draws the connection between roasting of premium coffee and the neighborhood customer. Bathed with light from skylights above, the warm woods, natural plaster, and crisp details express the designs genealogy.
