Wine Bottle Design - In my brainstorming stage I researched about wine and was inspired by the vineyards. The idea of wrapping a label around a bottle like that of a vine is what started my design. The objective for the wine bottles was to design labels that lead your eye down; up and rest in the middle. This is my concept idea for the labels. The main graphic aspect is the large leaf pattern that wraps around the bottle like a vine.
Wine Bottle Design - The next graphic aspect is the label and is printed on an earthy brown paper to connect the organic leaf pattern to the main label.
Wine Bottle Design - I designed a mock up of the wine bottle design and put together a photo shoot. You can see how the leaf pattern wraps around each booth to evoke the feeling of eye movement. I chose to do the product shoot over a small stream to connect the natural feel of the wine with its environment.
Solveig Wine Point of Purchase - The design idea was to make a structure that reflects the company and can be viewed from all sides. This is achieved by designing it with two leaf patterns extruded. The leave patterns are made with a medium density board and a brushed laminate on each side. The base is a 2 by 3 feet ellipse to keep it stable. The logo is displayed on outward sides of the leaf in a black vinyl cut. The simplistic design of this point of purchase is to capture the elegant feeling of the wine bottles.
