North Bound Magazine - Northbound is an outdoor magazine for the adventure seeker. It will be used as a guide for individuals wanting to take a trip to the North Shore. It captures its audience with the photography and ideas for adventures. The magazine has a finished size of 8 3/8 x 10 7/8 and on 50# matte text paper. It has perfect binding with a plus cover and is basically a 3-column grid system. The image draws you in and up to the title. The title is in a sans serif font using thin lines.
North Bound Magazine - The Departments and Features page is set up in a three column grid system. It is to be easily read and understood at a quick glance. Each column has an image, a title of the department and a quick reference for the lead stories with page numbers. The three page spread is a full bleed on the first two pages for a dramatic graphic image. The title is displayed on the top of the first page in a thin sans serif font that works with the photo and it is rough and organic feel like the waters.
North Bound 10 x 10 Inline - The 10 x 10 inline booth design is to be used at trade shows to promote the magazine. The booth is designed to capture the essence of the magazine, which is a simplistic modern feel for the North Shore. It is designed using back lit graphic panels. Capturing the same feel of the magazine I had a strong emphasis on the photographs.
North Bound 10 x 10 Inline - There are literature racks on each side of the lead counters to hold samples of the magazine. The strong emphasis on the black stone color used around the back lit graphics is to connect with the location of the magazine. The black stone is a well known characteristic of the North Shore and I wanted to capture that material feel within the booth.
