Maritime Museum of BC New Venue Proposal
This planning study was created to assist the Maritime Museum of BC in its bid to secure a new venue for its historic collection. The study centered around the re-use of an existing heritage building: the former Canadian Pacific steamship terminal located on Victoria’s Inner Harbour. The study involved working with the museum’s directors and curatorial staff to envision the collection at this new location. Plans for two floors of exhibits, library and archives, cafe, gift shop and administrative offices were developed.
