Headstock snapped off during transit to Guitar Center. I bought it on sale with hopes of fixing it.
Used Titebond II, and two clamps. After one full day to make sure it's fully dried, clamps were taken off.
Back of neck after repair, needs touchup paint.
After painting. Used Krylon plastic paint, matched the color very well, depending on the light of course.
Front of neck before painting, looks pretty bad to start.
After painting. The flash made the color look worse that it was. Overall the project was a complete success, holding up to the pressure of strings, and was even sold. To this day the owner plays it regularly, and has had no issues. Keeps the strings in tune for a long time as well.

Guitars-Learn and Play

Playing guitar is one thing I do to relax, and just spend hours doing. I found a good way to mix engineering practices and guitars by buying a $100 guitar with a broken headstock. I took it home, clamped it together, and lasted for a few years before I decided to sell it.
