A 4–storey multi-department building designed for public dealing. The challenge was to understand the requirements of different departments and to incorporate it in a design which provides adequate facilities for the expected voluminous footfall.
It was a time-bound project and as an Assistant Architect, I was involved in every aspect of the project. I ensured that design, detailing and handling issues at the construction site, continued simultaneously to ensure timely completion of the project. This included incorporating last minute requirement changes, a design change of facade and even in the air-conditioning system.
Use of Revit helped in making these last minute changes with minimum effect on other aspects of the project.
