Mass Scale Deployment - Knock-Down Kit
The world renowned computer literacy project Hole-in-the-wall was an initiative for educating children living in adverse conditions.
It required designing a computer kiosk which can be built in different geographic locations.
A knock-down kit was designed which can be modeled at almost any location with minimum local resources.
Before the kit design was finalised for production, tests were done on key components for user safety, dust free operation, and sustainability in varied weather conditions.
The project has been successfully implemented in Cambodia, Egypt, Nigeria and India.
