Mechanical delussions

In 2011 and 2012 exhibited in Københavns Kulturcenter (Copenhagen Denmark)
“Mechanical delusions & other illustrated stories” which is a continuum from “The Journey Project” but more character-focus, in which the pieces tell stories about a world inhabited by mechanisms or mechanical creatures and organisms pursuing our human traits.

Although exploring, my artwork as ‘biosnap’ is strongly influenced by surrealism, science fiction and architecture movements of 20th century. I speculate with an improbable future on the edge between machines, biological and humanoid connections. Retro bone joints, skin and raw engine parts are elements I can consider in my repertoire to “build” the characters and environments that live in my drawings. The female figure comes to me spontaneously as a character. I guess could be a personal tool of expression, that subconsciously, deal with my existential concerns and feelings always in transformation”
