Star in San Francisco - An original silk screen print in an edition of 135, hand printed, inspired by my 35mm film exposure and the dynamic challenge of the picture's split-fountain color blend in perspective (detail from the full facade of the "Star Sheet Metal Plumbing and Heating" company, San Francisco); all stencils hand cut in ruby film with xacto; prints are still available; one in the collection of Kenneth Young of Sacramento; one arm semi-automatic squeegee vacuum table thanks to Prasert Lekavanichkajorn
Sunset Theater - An original silk screen print in an edition of 135, conceived and executed by Bill, inspired by his 35mm black and white film exposure and the pink and blue neon's reflection in the gloss black metal facade; on Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley; all stencils hand cut in ruby film with xacto; prints are still available

Navajo Rain Cloud - A vibrant screen print in six colors two of which are a split fountain fill; a "good luck" American Indian symbol in a new graphic treatment; all stencils hand cut in ruby film with xacto; edition sold out
King Kong - This original screenprint by Bill was a graphic learning experience "borrowing" from many sources and using various new photo-production techniques; it has not been shown or sold in the marketplace after completion; a sidenote is that it was created by Bill after he saw a bumper sticker on a passing car which was later translated into Latin by Barry Beuth and appears in a subtle way on the lower portion of the icon frame (the bumper sticker read "King Kong Died For Your Sins")
John Perlman of Westbrae Foods - A Warhol-style screen printed photo-posterized portrait onto paint embellished canvas by Bill; John worked for a natural food company so lavish textures of red cabbage and carrot tops were used; unfinished and eventually painted over and then destroyed; only this one 35mm record of the 36" x 48" work remains
The Gay Olympic Poster by Rob Anderson - As a master screen printer, a very young Bill was certainly challenged with this very large, two-up poster, designed by Rob Anderson (http://robandersonstudio.com); Bill will always be proud to have produced this work of art at the William James Art Co. with Rob, his friend and colleague; the image appears in the Chronicle book publication, Gay by the Bay, 1996, pp 96-97 without credit; one arm semi-automatic squeegee vacuum table "thank you" Prasert Lekavanichkajorn
The Paul Harris Art Book / 18 of 21 pages - Pas D'Une was hand screened by Bill Hannapple at his studio; the printing required 87 color runs (an average of five colors per page) and more than a year to complete; the paper 100% rag Somerset Satin; each page aproximately 12" x 16"; this art book of Paul Harris' art drawings and design is a story without words and forever an inspiration and a labor of love by Bill
