I designed this product in Solidworks for an application in the medical field. My client provided me with a physical concept from which I reverse engineered.
As the design process continued, the client wanted several alterations from the physical concept . This proceeded in design meetings in which the client would sit with me to collaborate as I built out the design in CAD.
The prototype was 3d printed using a Projet Plus3500 HD. From the Solidworks model I created a female mold that was routed. Pictures show the 3d print with the applied silicone over mold I cast.
