Banana Curve
Numerous plastic sheets were used, including Polyethylene Terephthalate (PETG), Styrene, and finally Polyethylene (PE), in varying thickness until the optimal material for thermoforming over a plastic mold was found. The inspiration for the shape of the banana holder was the hyperbolic paraboloid of the Pringle.
