Nonprofit Storytelling
When I joined CASA, I became the first non-service employee the organization had ever had. The small nonprofit had never before had a public relations, communications or marketing professional. One of my first tasks in my role as communications coordinator and social media specialist was to improve the existing newsletter. It has been a slow process - tempered with designs that were put in place before my arrival. But over time, we have instituted more engaging content into each edition.
My experience at CASA, and previous work at the St. Louis Area Foodbank, helped build the skills I now use to tell stories for my nonprofit clients at 618 Creative.
