The Desert Rose (Watree v2)
In December 2013 my project the Watree was discovered by UAE Civil Engineering Consultancy, Conser Consulting and presented to their clients. It was presented as an opportunity to develop a water catchment system for agricultural use in arid regions. In 2013 the Desert Rose project was kicked off, with Melbourne based consultancy Chijoff+Co teaming with Conser and myself to develop the concept and deliver a set of functional drawings ready for prototype. In 2015 the Prototype was built in the UAE (see video). It is now undergoing feasibility studies and further development by Conser.
My role was to assist with development of the concept, complete the 3D modelling and technical drawing set for prototyping.
