AIC - Crescent
I was engaged by Simone LeAmon to assist her with the design and detail of a Crescent which was to be mounted at the entrance of the new Australian Islamic Centre in Melbourne, Victoria.
My role was to create 3D surface model to reflect Simone's design intention and design drawings to enable its production
The geometry of the Crescent is informed by an olive leaf. The finished Crescent, a 1200mm diameter casting with gold leaf finish.
The Crescent was installed in August, 2017.
