As Senior Menswear Designer at Jeanswest I am responsible not only for building moodboards and clear colour stories for monthly drops in-line with our customer and his ever changing aspirations - but also creating product from initial design concepts right through to construction, wash and fit. I carefully choose the right trims and details that really sets our product apart from others in the marketplace.
The eventual plan is to elevate our product to a more premium space and take our customer along with it, by constantly innovating in design, fabric and detail, refining month after month.
Product lines for each season can range anywhere from 16-35 pieces with multiple colour options and my focus can also range from outerwear and lowers, to tee graphic design, to print and pattern for shorts/shorts and right into construction of yarn dye checks and stripes.
Recently I have also been given the responsibility for Menswear Fashion Denim - covering design, fabric and wash.
