ANIMATED™ - From Shade to Life, is a luminous exploration into shade.
Designed with Vincent Claudepierre (http://www.behance.net/vincentclaudepierre) and Maxime Dubreucq (http://www.behance.net/daxime), our initiative is to bring a breathless animal to life. In Western
civilization, light usually represent life.
We decide to use shade as main (un)material instead, in order to create a
paradoxical approach to life.
Shade brings light.
Light is life.

Philou is assembled out of 23 pieces, lasercutted in recycled cardboard, for
a better logistic and sustainability.
Philou is also powered by a low temperature LED, preventing fire risks and
reducing electricity consumption.
