This project brief was to design a commuter/recreation helmet for kids and a scaled up version for adults that was inline with the new Bollé design language aesthetic. The process began with designing the kids version first. I Began with a couple quick sketches and then into SolidWorks to define the form. I 3D printed a couple half scale models for design review and validation with the internal team. Once completed, I drafted the design of the adult version off of the kids aesthetic with some minor changes/adjustments. I then worked with overseas vendors to validate and finalize the design for production.
