TU DELFT | Our research team developed a proposal for a textile membrane with a shell structure consisting of flat panels. The shell was designed around the minimal surface known as the Enneper Surface. The design was developed to allow fabrication, and then underwent Finite Element Analysis to understand its structural behavior. The research culminated in the built structure, and a research paper discussing the approach and outcome.
