Robotic Laser Measuring and Layout Tool
The Robotic Laser Measuring and Layout Tool is a device designed for use within the construction industry to minimize human error, save money by preventing costly mistakes, and reduce the number of workers and the time it takes to layout a building once the foundation is poured. The device uses EDM laser technology to determine where the device is located within the partially built building, then using a CAD model of the building, it paints lines on the ground where interior walls are to be placed. It also uses its laser to point to key mounting points on the ceiling for systems like fire supression and HVAC.
