This is the end result of the design I was commissioned to do by Steel Dynamics in Fort Wayne as part of the IPFW Sculpture with Purpose 50th anniversary celebration of the university’s founding. It is an effort to create functional art in downtown Fort Wayne and on the campus of IPFW sponsored by local businesses and designed by local artists. This sculpture located outside of Parkview Field, the Tin Caps’ stadium, along West Jefferson Boulevard across from the Grand Wayne Center in downtown Fort Wayne. The final build construction was done by the local fabrication shop Diversified Metal Specialties, LLC located at 2425 South Coliseum Blvd., Fort Wayne, IN 46803.
