Teen Bedroom
When I was 14 years old, I was given the opportunity to completely redo my bedroom. With the help of my aunt, I repainted all the walls and ceiling, built a bed and window seat out of other furniture, and refurbished a vanity that we found at a thrift store. I was able to choose not only how I wanted to decorate, but also to actually build the furniture that I wanted and completely change my room. This was my first opportunity to really design, and was unknowingly the beginning of my love for the industry.
