Ray Table - Inspired by the slotted furniture likes of Umbra and Josh Owen, the Ray Table is a flat-pack, self-assembled solid wood coffee table that requires no hardware. I wanted to experiment with using sawdust in nontraditional ways. I mixed it with wood glue to create a composite that was then laid into the milled out area of the table top design. It gives the table surface a unique texture. The process "uses the whole buffalo" in the sense that nothing goes to waste during manufacturing.

Void Chair - I wanted to create a chair that was fun and inviting to sit in. The chair is made of bent plywood, and has a void in the seat for a pillow, which can be used for your back or lap.
