The revamping of Simi Valley’s brand image stems from the relationship Simi has with Hollywood’s film industry. In doing so, this rebrand is written in the form of a lover story. Simi Valley and Hollywood have been a partner in film for over a 100 years and are still going strong. What most people don’t realize is that a majority of Hollywood films are not actually filmed in Hollywood itself, but rather around neighboring towns. In order to share this rich history, I projected personas on Simi Valley and Hollywood as secret lovers destined to be together forever. The brand was finalized in a 66-page book that reveals the hidden secrets behind Simi Valley's history with Hollywood's film industry.
