This first page describes the vision for the building makeover. Luckily I found a picture of the first meeting between architects and El Paso Corporation.
I thought it was important to give a little history of the building. Since 1963 this building has been a downtown Houston icon.
Equally important was the fact that the remodel team kept the integrity of the old 1963 building, still updating it to today's standards. I could have used any number of photos here, however I wanted everyone to see the abstract artistic elements.
This was a major event in downtown Houston. Lifting the old and installing the new chillers diffidently needed to be included in the book.
The El Paso Corporation Federal Credit Union needed a new look for their new space. The developed a new logo for the credit union as their new brand. It was built and covered in brushed chrome, mounted on the back wall, and used on their web site, debit card, newsletter and stationary.
On of the best shots of the building is at night.
I wanted to make sure to include everyone that touched the remodel. After talking to the project managers, I developed this illustration to include the ideas, achievements, vendors, and employees that had any part of the remodel.
Vellum page with credits.

El Paso Building Makeover_Commorative Book

This book was a gift given to those who worked on El Paso's Houston Building Makeover. It commemorated a "Job Well Done" for employees, building designers, and construction companies.

This book was designed as a online book. I worked with Western Litho using my own template. After laying out the book, I gave Western a pdf of the inside pages, book jacket cover, emboss for the hard cover, and a vellum page for the book credits.
