Design Camp Speaker
This is a speaker I designed at NCSU Design Camp. This project challenged us to create a speaker or a specific hobbyist assigned to us by our peers. My hobbyist was a chemist of sorts that needed a speaker that was durable, loud, and had great low end. This speaker features piezoelectric transducers which are commonly used in an acoustic hailing device call the LRAD. The item on the left is a sketch of the product using markers and paper, the item in the middle is a mock up made of paper and Styrofoam, and the item on the right is a 3D model made in AutoCAD.
