Created in March of 2017, 2 months after starting my business. I had no idea how much I had to learn as an emerging footwear designer. I was placed in the spotlight of millions as my designs went viral and customer demand was high. I immediately started selling and was given feedback. I also lend shoes to influential clients for red carpet events, magazine editorials, and tv shows who also shared the same feedback.
The design is not functional if the straps are made to wrap beyond the knee. Various factors including customer stride, leg size, and material make it hard for the rope to stay in place unless the rope is tied extremely tight which is mildly uncomfortable for customer. Although my customers begged me to continue making this heel I couldn't in good faith knowing the customer would be dissatisfied with the fit.
