ASCD Manitoba Logo - Grade 12
This is the final design for ASCD Manitoba. There were many before this but in the end this is what was chosen. I feel that the font used for "manitoba" compliments that in the "ASCD" in that they are so different. The font used for "manitoba" is thin and well spaced out, whereas the font for "ASCD" is bolder and closer together, creating contrast. I chose these colors to have a professional feel.
Paully Wally Amp Logo - Grade 12
This assignment was to create a logo to go on an amp. It had to have the 'Cadillac V' shape somewhere in it. I just wanter to get it done so I rushed a bit but it actually turned out not too bad. I like the gold and red colors I chose but I'm not too sure if the layout of it all works together. I like the position of the 'V' but I think the shape and angle of the letters could have worked better with it.
Avrielle Accessories Logo - Grade 12
For an online boutique selling jewelry and accessories. They wanted a "realistic and natural" looking peacock feather coming out of the 'A' with the feather a little iridescent and not too cartoony. I chose a cognac color, but I had trouble with the gradient blending the dark "A" and the lighter stem of the feather. A little pop of color in the eye of the feather also serves as the dot on the letter 'i', but I used similar colors so it didn't look too seperate.
Simpleology Website Logo - Grade 12
This was a redesign of an existing logo for a website that "simplifies your life". I think that this logo is better than the original in that the three colors they used look less professional than the two colors I used, but at the same time this isn't my best work.
