Generative design (GD) is an iterative design process which requires designers to use different tools and techniques. The objective of GD is to generate several computational calculated outputs that meet specific constraint or requirements. Requirements may include material specifications, manufacturing techniques, strength and weight. In this research project, GD was utilize demonstrate the utility and practicality of the tool and technique of GD. This study is an eye-opener for potential use of GD at the fuzzy-front end of industrial design.
