Game design - Flip Flap - The course of game design was a group activity. Our group consisted of three people from varied backgrounds. We had designed two different game plays with similar concept of flipping the flaps.

Game design - Flip Flap (game play-1) - The game consists of pattern cards and a grid board having 25 square blocks in which 12 flip flap units are fixed in a checked pattern. Each unit consists of 4 flaps, assembly forming a cross. Patten cards have different colour patterns which the players are supposed to achieve. The arrangement of the units is such that by flipping the flaps, any colour appears in any square. The aim of the player is to win the game by forming the given pattern, before the opponent.

Game design - Flip Flap (game play-2) - The game consists of cards showing a colour and a number, and the player needs to produce the combination of the same by flipping flaps on the board.

Trophy design - First year, Product design (M.des.) IDC, IIT Bombay Course - material processes and manufacture. The assignment was given to design a trophy for the best design award. The material to be used was steel sheet. The aim of the assignment was to understand the material and explore it accordingly. The trophy is in the form of a mobius strip, depicting the infinite journey of design.

Form study - abstraction of Jellyfish - The above 3D form is been designed in the course - Form studies, during first year product design (M.Des.), IDC, IIT Bombay. Each student had to select an animal of their choice. The students had to study its form language and create a 3D abstraction of the same.

Form study - mp3 player (expression- strong) - The above product is been designed in the course - Form studies, during first year product design (M.Des.), IDC, IIT Bombay. Each student was given two opposite expressions. I had been given expression 'Fragile' and 'Strong'. The students were supposed to study the expression and present few examples showing peculiar traits of the expression and design a mp3 player based on the study.The above image is of the strong mp3 player.

Magazine rack design - The above is a wall hung magazine rack, with three slots. Each slot is pivoted and can be pulled forward to take the magazine out. The envelop is a framed structure in the form of hands holding a book.
