Sustainability Strategy - Slow Consumption - Project for Kering and Centre for Sustainable Fashion

As an incubator for a sustainable future for fashion, London College of Fashion has teamed with the global luxury leader 'Kering' on a 5-year partnership.
30 students were selected from LCF to work on various projects that propose new ways of empowering sustainability.
'Slow footprints' is a project developed by our team of five. We proposed innovative business models for Stella McCartney and Bottega Veneta, that can facilitate slow consumption of fashion. Bacterially cultivated Kombucha leather was chosen as the material and we developed the theory of 'Presencing' around the application of the material.
