"Accent" Modular Necklace concept - Modularity or customization within jewelry has usually been a job for the jeweller. My idea with "Accent" was to make jewelry available using "modules" that could be purchased individually, and connected to form the final piece. As shown, the centerpiece has four sections, which can be individually customized as per the user's preferences. Each module can be sold separately, or even exchanged for a small fee, thus creating a form of long-lasting after-sales service.
