I started this a while ago on Procreate but I just never seemed to make enough progress, or at least enough to know that I got better at digital painting. So I just finished it in Clip Studio Paint to just get it done because this took much longer than it should have.
But anyway, I was inspired to create this based on the jeweled skeletons of the saints unearthed in Rome. The golden plant the skeleton is holding is the stinging nettle, representing the transition between life and death.
