INTRODUCTION
The task was to curate an exhibition, based on the book Contemporary Domestic Landscape 1945-2000, at the venue PAC, Milano, and create an exhibition with cultural reference to the factors that affected the Italian design.
The Book Contemporary Domestic Landscape 1945-2000 is a collection of chapters, as written by 14 authors, talk about the various social, cultural, economic and industrial changes that Italy went through and which impacted the daily life and dwelling habits of people.
THE CONCEPT
The book is a collection of 14 chapters, which talk about various subjects, however in order to exhibit it was required to come up with one common concept. The authors in the book express their points of view on the subjects, thus the concept “point of view is the view point” was derived.
The exhibits are 6 strong themes from the book that represent the points of view. The core element in each theme is the viewpoint.
