This chair is designed to be simple, comfortable and to effectively assist sitting down and getting up for the elderly as well as anyone else who has difficulty performing this task. It achieves this do to the air springs located in the back legs which reduce the force needed to get up by slowly lowering the seat when sitting down. It also has extendable handles for a more comfortable and steady grip. But most importantly, it does this without making it difficult or awkward to use for anyone who doesn’t require it’s assistance.
