The design challenge involved the integration of sound into a soft goods product. I was inspired during my research by the hardware used for the feet of purses and the sound they made when coming in contact with a hard surface. my goal was to design and construct a stylish handbag that amplified the sound of contact within the product’s user interface and with the product’s surrounding environment.
