typographic installation Gwar chmar
Typographic installation refers to the recorded street noise, bustle, noise information, which is accompanies man in the city, attacking him from all sides by the words and sounds, advertising and other visual messages, received SMS or phone calls and many others – reflects the character of the city bustle. It is a slice of this noise: text, speech, verbal and nonverbal, jagged thoughts, words spoken in haste, colloquial speech, record for collective stream of people’s consciousness – in the form of typographic cuboid.
Words, sentences, both heard in the city and visible in the system are often absurd, torn, some parts completely illegible. The recipient is placed before the dilemma – whether to surrender to the act of seeing / touching or reading. Installation is a record of what everyday life is available to the senses of sight and hearing. The multidimensional and dynamic aspect of typography is specifically underlined in this project.
