Typography II 2013: The Elements Of Style
This assignment was for Typography II. We had to completely redesign "The Elements Of Style" by William Struck Jr. The whole book including the slipcase is 6inx9in and the pages are 5.3inx8.5in. My concept for the redesign was to make it easy to read (not cramming the text, spacing the sections, and color coding the example text) and make it visually interesting (using color and dynamic laser cut chapter openers). I bound the book using perfect binding and the slipcase and the chapter openers are laser cut. It has a total of 209 pages.
