One of many prototypes. Suspension cables were difficult to print successfully.
Model would only print two out of the four suspension chords on the design - even after playing with thicknesses. Moved on without suspension cables and focused instead on creating a functional bridge with mobile hinges. This image shows the pieces that I printed.
Super glued the pieces together. The final print proved to be functional!
The hinges were the only part of this design not designed by me. I borrowed the code from an online source and modified it to fit my model.
