The Unconventional Primary School
The "Unconventional Primary School" is a 6-month long half-research, half-design project to address the need for a more conducive learning environment. The school takes the ideas of Maria Montessori, Peter Peterson and Sir Ken Robinson to create a space that encourages independence as well as collaboration. The spaces are versatile, adapting to the needs and activities of the students. They are free to learn how and where they want under the guidance of supporting teachers. The school is designed with a light ambiance and bright pleasant colors to create a more stimulating environment for the children.
