This project was completed for Transportation Design I at Monash University and the brief was to design a vehicle for a film set approximately 100 years in the future.
The final design is a hovering jet propelled bike built by the main character to explore and patrol the outer regions of a new colony set up on a newly popularized planet. The film is a science fiction tale of a new colony struggling to survive and maintain order in a poverty stricken and hostile environment. The bike is propelled and stabilized with several jet engines and employs holographic exterior panels, displays and navigation systems. It is used to traverse the off-road landscape by the main character as he attempts to maintain stability within the colony.
