Front Wing CFD and FEA analysis

An engineering project for Engineering Design III at Monash University, the project entailed a group design of a racing car's front wing within constrained parameters with the simultaneous objectives of high downforce, low drag, low weight and low cost.
The wing was designed within a range of size parameters during the year using CFD and FEA analysis of NX models in ANSYS before the specific parameters were received on the last day of the project and the final design was optimised to give the best results for these parameters within 30 hours.
My group and I were able to complete the project to a very high standard within the 30 hours achieving the 6th best results overall for the project.
