I got to spend a quite a few years as the graphic designer for Darknight Theatrical Productions, a Chicago based theatre company who might be best known for producing an annual one day event called "Night Gallery" that showcased macabre script writers. Scripts would be submitted from all over the nation and get narrowed down to three that would be produced in a single day, complete with actors, costumes and set pieces. The audience would then get an opportunity to vote for their favorite and the best one would be considered the winner. My role was to create a painting to accompany each of the pieces and introduce the show, similar to the Rod Sterling "Night Gallery" television show. Part of the assets in this group include some of the paintings from the show. The remainder are personal pieces.
