As part of the first iPensole 2013 Footwear Design Academy course during three weeks, I developed a signature shoe for the acrobat/dancer Rubberlegz (Rauf Yasit).
I created the Cypher Brand (dancefloor word for the BBoys), focused to the dancers that are looking for a "tool" that will provide a improvement on the daily practice.
The innovative design of the power boost and the wrap system helps the dancer to upgrade his jumps and keep a maximum fit. Making a compromise between support and flexibility the shoe provides the real needs for the customer.
Microperforated upper, as a second skin gives brethability. The rubber toe cap is used for protection and the rounded outsole to avoid injuries with the body while is dancing.
The final task was to create a 11 inch marker rendering.
The project will be dispayed in Las Vegas on February 18th – 22nd at FN Platform Show.
