The rat care sheet, in total, took me about five hours to make. Permission was granted to use the writing for this. Please feel free to check out the website to see the source.

For extra credit, I created this school play program. I primarily used Indesign and Photoshop for it.
For this project, I challenged myself to edit an image of my eyes into a creative banner for a website project that I am working on. For the image itself, I increased saturation as it was a very overcast day when the picture was taken and removed the background. Then, for the sketch part of the picture, I selected one half of the image, desaturated it, inverted that layer, and then added a Gaussian blur to make the layer appear as a sketch. For the "creative" part of the image, I opened the photo on Affinity Designer and began to create gradient sections. This image represents my abilities in photo editing, traditional art, and vector art.
This typography project was inspired by my selfishness, to be blunt. Haha. As a Christian, I try to examine myself as a person, and I've come to find that I become solely self-focused very easily. It's to the point where I no longer care for others the way that I should. So, I named this piece, "Crashing myself" as I hope to turn away from that mindset.
This is an example of a metaphorical ad. The project that I was given was to create 3 ads using different methods centering around something you use every day. These were to be examples of positive, negative, and metaphorical ads. I chose to go with a phone, as it is something I find myself needing constantly for various reasons. However, I noted that phones are becoming detrimental to society in certain cases, and so it is important to not become too attached to the device. I used this inspiration to create the ads by a fictional organization called, "Turn It Off Project"
This is an example of a negative ad. As I go about my day a lot of times, I notice children tugging on their mother's sleeve trying to get her attention, but alas she is much too concentrated on her phone. And so I considered something. Surely the mother does not intend to make the child feel like he needs to beg for attention. Being a mother is very hard. I wonder if she had more reinforcement, would she attempt to be less concentrated on her phone? And so I was inspired to create two advertisements concerning phones specifically directed to parents.
This is an example of a positive ad.
This vintage advertisement was created for the Greensburg Art museum to showcase what could have motivated immigrant workers to move to Pittsburgh.
I was tasked to design a mock playbill. I could not, however, find any photos that matched my thumbnail sketch online. And so I took elements of many photos to create an image.
I was tasked to create a 3D design and advertisement. I decided to create a pencil box that could ship monthly art supplies, similar to Sketchbox and Artsnacks. (The Challenge Box is not a real subscription box. The website is fake.)
For a design competition, I was given two hours to create an advertisement for a fictional resort in New Mexico titled, "Bay Breeze Resort."
This is an example of re-coloring an object using Affinity Photo and creating a grayscale background.
