Topic: Case study of a building, awarded leadership in energy and environment design (LEED) platinum certification by USGBC
Description: This paper discus about a building awarded Leadership in Energy and Environment Design (LEED) Platinum certification by USGBC. This building provides model for the application of alternative energy systems at a larger urban scale. It has been designed as a demonstration of a modern building in which the building’s materiality and its spatial qualities are based on energy conserving considerations. Key features of building are 35 kWP photovoltaic solar panels, Energy-efficient heating/cooling and lighting, waste-water recycling, zero-water runoff from the site, etc.
