CMYK NYC
Spring in New York City. Inspired by a commercial painter's uniform, splattered and sprayed from his/her work. The color palette is a reverence to printer's ink, based in cyans and magentas with tones of pinks and purples in between, all grounded in white . There is some 80's art scene nostalgia in this collection in the abstract prints - many of the patterns and images have almost a tribal feel to them. The look is simple, clean, slightly androgynous but still quite feminine overall.
All photographic images are not my own; they are used to convey conceptual ideas only. Background images on flats pages by Nathalie Du Pasquier's 80's textile collection for 'Memphis'.
