I worked as a UI designer on several Intellisync enterprise mobile app projects for Nokia.
The Intellisync Mobile Suite offered an integrated collection of enterprise apps with ActiveSync (mobile Outlook) support, including email, calendar, contacts and tasks, plus data backup support, file access, and travel itinerary management. My role was to help update the Intellisync Mobile Suite experiences as it was ported to Symbian smartphones in 2006 using mobile Java (J2ME).
I also worked closely with a small engineering team to offer Nokia's first enterprise calling (PBX-integrated) mobile app on Symbian S60 E-series phones. The goal of Intellisync Call Connect was to offer a degree of integration with the user's deskphone, including the major call management functions on both GSM and CDMA -- all without a direct data channel to the office PBX system.
