NASA: Common Crew Cabin - NASA currently designs its spacecraft from the ground up.
A Common Crew Cabin would be a space adaptable to the current three types of mission spacecraft, and also be able to be outfitted specifically for each one. This would not only reduce cost but also development time, making spacecraft design less succeptible to policy change and budget cuts.

Eleven other RISD students and I worked for twelve weeks in close contact with NASA to come up with such a design.
