Vans Shop Proposal
This is a school project to encourage students to find out a strategical final design outcome for a retail brand.
Vans is a well-known brand of shoes, one particular style of shoe was added in 1979 that made the brand grow explosively across the US. Although Vans grew strongly over the year, the market share is still decreasing due to birth of new brands. Furthermore, Vans is a newly introduced brand in Singapore and so far there has been no advertisement.
Existing Vans in Singapore sells only skate and casual products because of the typical geography and climate here. Even they want to sell for skaters, but their shops have not much ideas or design for skaters to recognize. If Vans wants to be successful in this area, they must have a design which looks familiar with their targets. Skate Park is a good idea for Vans to redesign. Bringing a new look for retail shop with skate ramps, handrails, steps… that are common in park but will be special in a shopping mall
