Fashion Influence Ch11 Directoire and Empire Period-- spencer
Today, it had huge change of spencer fashion influence. For the top of picture, it's a short close fitting jacket cut from the same style as the dress bodice in the 19th century. The Spencer was worn both indoors and outdoors and for evening wear and was made of silk or a wool material known as kerseymere. For the second of picture, it's modern short jacket, and the detail become simple. Also, it have different style of spencer and make different of material on the short jacket.
